About Us
From Our 1937 Beginnings To The Work of Present Day

Adam Tecza began his horticultural training in Europe, but at the age of eighteen he returned to Chicago his place of birth to pursue his vocation. Professional commitment and a sense of old world craftsmanship soon earned him an appointment as the head landscape foreman for the World’s Fair in 1933. Four years later, Adam and his wife started the business that has grown into Tecza Landscape Group, Inc. It all began with hard work and a commitment to the horticultural industry. With time our experience and knowledge formed a reputation of quality and superior service. Loyal customers and the commitment of our people created a rich tradition and resulted in corporate growth. These roots have been planted; it’s our job to nurture their growth for a new day.
